Send in a laptop or notebook instead of bringing it in person.
For cleaning, battery, SSD/RAM, fan and model-dependent display or keyboard work, the device can be mailed in after a prior request. Model, fault description and requested service help with the initial assessment.
Typical symptoms
Loud or constantly running fans, excessive heat, short battery life, insufficient storage or faulty modular components are typical reasons for maintenance, upgrades or repair.
Before shipping
Back up important data where possible. Only send the power adapter and accessories if they are relevant to diagnosis or explicitly requested.

Laptop & notebook questions
Can I send my laptop in for repair?
Yes. After a request and initial assessment, a suitable laptop or notebook can be sent in by mail. You receive the shipping information beforehand.
Are SSD or RAM included in the installation price?
No. Published installation prices cover labour. The required part is considered separately or can be supplied by arrangement.
Do you access my personal data?
Mechanical work normally does not require it. If a functional test requires access to the operating system, this is agreed in advance.
Can an existing SSD be transferred to a new one?
Data transfer or setup can be discussed separately depending on the situation. It is not automatically included with a simple SSD installation.
Do you also repair mainboards?
Complex mainboard, BGA, GPU or CPU work is not part of the regular standard service and is only assessed case by case.
